// Adèle Sica Biography

Adèle’s style of presenting has been described as professional, spontaneous, engaging and natural. Very funny too! “I relate to people easily, I am very warm and welcoming” Adèle says. “Live TV is great, it is spontaneous and that is what I love, every day is different. I feel like I am talking to my friends in my bedroom when the reality is I am talking to thousands of viewers in their homes, telling the nation my life stories and what I get up to at the weekends. My mum will switch the TV on and tune in, if she wants to find out what I have been up to!”

In 2006 Adèle decided to go freelance giving her the opportunity to work for other channels but remain a familiar face at Sit-Up. “I have made some great friends there, the people are what make the place.”

Adèle has a huge following and always gets lots of mail, everything from ten-year-olds asking for advice on becoming a presenter, older ladies wishing she was their daughter to the odd ‘will you go out with me? I will look after you forever’ message. “I love my job and I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to e-mail me, they have all touched me in some way or another.”

Adèle likes to let her hair down by dancing and she loves music, R ‘n’ B, funky house and dance are her favourites! If not in her bedroom dancing around to the latest hits she enjoys girlie nights out and enjoys going to the theatre and restaurants.

When not in the gym or roller-skating Adèle likes to spend time in one of her favourite vacation hotspots, St. Tropez and Marbella. She loves fashion too and is a high street kinda girl, “you can’t beat Topshop in Oxford Street – shoes, bags and accessories I just love them, you can never have too many!”

Adèle believes life is for living and you should enjoy every minute of it. “I always say be good to the world and the world will be good to you. I think that goes for everything, from keeping the country tidy to respecting people and their beliefs. We are all different and that’s what makes life so exciting!”
